    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need physical rehabilitation with chiropractic care?

Many patients benefit from rehab because adjustments can improve motion, but exercises help restore strength, stability, coordination, and function. Premier Chiropractic may combine chiropractic care with physical rehabilitation to support longer-lasting results.

How is this different from physical therapy?

Our rehabilitation is integrated with chiropractic care for a comprehensive approach. We address both structural alignment and muscular conditioning.

    Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. We can evaluate your condition and design an appropriate rehabilitation program.

Can I do exercises at home?

Yes, we'll provide you with at-home exercises to continue your progress between visits.

Can a chiropractor help with sports injuries?

Yes, chiropractic care and rehabilitation may help some sports injuries involving joints, muscles, tendons, posture, movement patterns, or spine-related mechanics. Premier Chiropractic evaluates the injury first to determine whether conservative care is appropriate. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, mobility work, soft-tissue support, shockwave therapy, MLS laser therapy, and return-to-activity guidance. Severe injuries, suspected fractures, major instability, or symptoms that require advanced imaging may need referral.

Why would rehab exercises be part of chiropractic care?

Rehabilitation exercises help strengthen weak areas, improve stability, restore mobility, and reduce the chance of the same problem returning. Adjustments may help restore motion, but rehab helps the body support that motion better. Premier Chiropractic may recommend exercises when the exam shows weakness, poor movement patterns, balance issues, instability, or reduced function.
